About
ARIA
ARIA 2025 is Toronto’s leading research and technology innovation showcase, hosted by the University of Toronto’s Department of Computer Science. At the heart of Canada’s tech ecosystem, the department is internationally recognized for groundbreaking research, world-class teaching, and a long history of shaping the digital industries of tomorrow.
ARIA is where this excellence comes to life. Each year, U of T students, faculty, and its industry collaborators present cutting-edge projects tackling real-world challenges from AI for health care and sustainability to robotics, fintech, logistics, and beyond. The showcase highlights not only the creativity and technical mastery of students but also the department’s strong partnerships with industry leaders, government, and fellow academic units.
Through programs like the Master of Science in Applied Computing (MScAC), students work together with top companies to co-develop transformative solutions, advancing both research and industry practice. These collaborations have spanned space robotics, financial AI, education technology, and next-generation enterprise software, demonstrating how the department fuels innovation across sectors.
ARIA is more than a showcase, it’s a bridge between academia and industry, where bold ideas, breakthrough research, and future tech talent converge. Attendees have the unique opportunity to network with exceptional students, faculty, and partners from across Computer Science, Statistical Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
Join us on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to experience the full scope of U of T’s innovation ecosystem and the technologies shaping the future.
